ABOUT THE LECTURE

“My evenings are taken up very largely with astrology. I make horoscopic calculations in order to find a clue to the core of psychological truth.” ~C.G. Jung

In difficult times, we need clues on how to grow in consciousness and create meaning. To help with this search, the Comox Valley C.G. Jung Society is delighted to bring back Jungian Psychotherapist Dan Keusal for their February 19, 2021, online lecture. While outlining connections between astrology and Jung’s ideas on synchronicity, Dan illustrates how astrology supports the individuation process in our daily lives, moving us towards Jung’s main goal: a meaningful sense of purpose.

An astrological birth chart offers valuable guidance on a person’s healing and growth, including innate supporting gifts and how to use consciousness, creativity, and imagination to be active participants in one’s unique life journey. Using charts of audience volunteers and celebrities, Dan shows how charts also speak to questions of intimate relationships and soul mates, true vocations, why we sometimes feel stuck, and how the chart can open up one’s life, bringing access to one’s deepest creativity and sense of meaning.
